On top of the world Ma!
Not quite - there's higher ground ahead.
This could have been here a while.
On the way back down to earth.
What kind of blogger lives in a place like this?
Who would have thought another magical world lies waiting to be discovered 300ft beneath the canopy of these trees?

We celebrated St George's Day at the weekend with a procession through the village followed by a fabulous performance of the Pace Egg Play by the outstanding M6 Theatre Company and a sing-a-long that would put to shame the Last Night of the Proms

It's been a lovely sunny long weekend here in Lancashire and we've enjoyed a fun family-filled Easter!
We went to watch the local folk dancers on Saturday and I've put together a short video for you. Those of you who have been reading this blog for a while will not be surprised by that news :D
If you enjoyed the video above you can see more of the traditional folk dances from previous years here and learn more about the Britannia Coco-nut Dancers here
I am looking forward to getting a bit of gardening done tomorrow and also finishing the edits for Refuge of Delayed Souls
Hope you are all well and have enjoyed a joyous and happy Easter!
